Mark Hynes, Corporate Governance Consultant

Mark Hynes is an expert in corporate governance and investor relations. He uses his 25 years experience to advise CitySavvy clients on their regulatory disclosure strategies.

Mark chairs the Investor Relations Society Policy Committee, and sits on FSA, CESR and other advisory groups. He is a regular conference speaker, contributor to publications such as IR Magazine and Informed as well as author of a popular IR blog www.transparencymatters.blogspot.com.

Most recently Mark was responsible for IR at PR Newswire, where he still consults. Prior to that, Mark was a Board Director of the Financial Times, spending 18 years in continental Europe, the US and Asia. Before joining the FT, he was at the Economist. He started his career as an investment banker.
