Curtis to spearhead UK internal communications services

London/Amsterdam, February 2, 2007 - CitySavvy, the international financial and corporate communications agency, has appointed James Curtis as Senior Consultant.

Curtis, who is based in CitySavvy's London office, will be spearheading the development of the agency's internal communications business in the UK.

CitySavvy's multilingual team of communications consultants has been providing internal communications services to major international companies based in continental Europe since its founding in 2005.

Curtis has over 15 years industry experience, and in recent years, has been highly active in corporate communications. He spent four years as managing editor of a quarterly magazine for senior management of The Coca-Cola Company, and worked on communications projects for clients including Glaxo SmithKline, Intel, Deutsche Bank, UBS and Sony Computer Entertainment.

As a journalist, he was a leading contributor to the television and radio industry magazine, Broadcast, and was features editor for the business magazines Marketing, Precision Marketing and World Business. His writing has appeared in many national publications, including the Financial Times, The Guardian, the Independent, PR Week and Campaign. As well as broadcasting, marketing and advertising, his sector experience includes finance and transport, having served as editor of the cargo and shipping magazine Port Development International.
