Financial PR specialist to help grow strategic communications business
London/Amsterdam, November 28, 2006 – CitySavvy, the international financial and corporate communications agency, has appointed Maria Englund, 38, as a senior consultant for its rapidly-growing investor relations and financial PR business.
Maria, who is based in CitySavvy’s Amsterdam office, focuses on managing both strategic and tactical public relations and investor relations projects. She will work closely with CitySavvy director Marina Millington-Ward, to build the agency's strategic communications businesses.
Maria has more than a decade of corporate and financial PR experience. Most recently, she was Vice President at Rubenstein Associates, a 200-consultant strong full-service public relations firm based in New York. At Rubenstein, she developed and managed PR campaigns for a range of clients, including commercial real estate firms, private equity investment firms and mutual funds.
She was marketing and public relations manager at Apax Partners, a global private equity investment firm, and was part of the PR team at Jones Lang LaSalle, an international commercial real estate firm. She also worked at Michael Kaminer Public Relations, where she focused on PR campaigns for internet companies. Maria has a BA in French and English from the University of Richmond in Virginia.
