CitySavvy strengthens UK PR team with senior hire

Agency boosts management board with promotion

London, November 7, 2007 - CitySavvy, the international financial and corporate communications agency, has appointed seasoned corporate PR consultant Ruth Reynolds as Senior Consultant in its London office and strengthened its management team by promoting James Curtis to the position of Associate Director.

Ruth Reynolds has been brought in to expand and strengthen the agency's growing UK corporate and financial PR activities. Reynolds has more than 15 years PR industry experience. She was formerly a Senior Consultant at Publicis Consultants in Amsterdam, heading up internal communications campaigns for Philips. Prior to her move to the Netherlands she founded and ran her own PR agency, Praxis PR, for five years. At Praxis, she took the company from start-up to PR Week Top 150 in just three years, overseeing 15 staff at its most successful point. Reynolds has also held senior positions at Band & Brown Communications, Attenborough Associates and Spreckley Partners.

CitySavvy has also promoted James Curtis to its executive board. Curtis, who joined CitySavvy in February this year, heads up the agency's contract publishing and digital content business in the UK. In addition to his management responsibilities, Curtis leads a team of consultants who advise The Coca-Cola Company and he works on other accounts including ING Wholesale Banking, NIBC and Webloyalty.

Prior to joining CitySavvy, Curtis worked for 15 years in communications, first as a journalist and later as a freelance consultant. Curtis was features editor for the business magazines Marketing, Precision Marketing and World Business. His writing also appeared in many national publications, including the Financial Times, The Guardian, the Independent, PR Week and Campa
